Where will your tax-exempt organization be by 2025? Make the right decisions today and your nonprofit can arrive financially strong, relevant and thriving. Making those decisions means getting out in front of the hyper pace of change so you can recognize what trends and innovations matter, how they will reshape the marketplace, and where problems and opportunities are likely to arise.

Anticipating the future, however, is just the start. You must also map out actionable steps using your knowledge of what’s ahead to stop managing crises and start managing opportunities.

Now, the third workshop in TRENDS’ Finance Live series helps mid- and upper-level finance professionals hone these competencies not just to see the future, but to shape it.

Register now for The Anticipatory Finance Professional: Methods for Identifying Top Tech Trends, Potential Problems, and Emerging Opportunities.

In this half-day workshop, financial professionals explore “see the future” strategies that can help tax-exempt organizations navigate the age of hyper-change. Your guide is Tom Hood, CEO and Executive Director of MACPA and a member of the Accounting Hall of Fame. From technology and innovation, to potential problems and opportunities, he’ll show you how to anticipate the hard trends now so you can position your organization to thrive for years to come.

Trade crisis management for opportunity management. In addition to sharpening your ability to anticipate what’s ahead, Tom Hood takes you through an “Insights to Action” exercise. During this exercise, you’ll map out practical steps you can start taking immediately to avoid problems and seize opportunities—in time to make the difference.

You will also have networking time with association peers and sponsors, and the chance to ask Tom Hood your specific questions.

Register now to strengthen your ability to lead your tax-exempt organization through this era of hyper-change and uncertainty, including how to:

  • Recognize—and anticipate—trends that will reshape your marketplace
  • Understand emerging technologies and innovation sooner
  • Use strategic thinking to spot potential problems and opportunities
  • Make quick and effective decisions despite the pace of change
  • Develop clear action steps to accelerate your organization’s growth

You’ll come away from this training with practical new strategies for making decisions today that continue to help your tax-exempt organization thrive tomorrow. You’ll also benefit from CAE and CPE credits and valuable networking time with your colleagues.
